Ottilie Brodmann was a royal dressmaker in Germany in the early 1900's, she was the grandmother of Elsa Brodmann. Elsa decided to start a luxury clothing label in her hometown of New Orleans and wanted to dedicate the name of her label to her very talented grandmother.

   Ottilie Brodmann is focused on designing and producing high-quality, versatile, and classic garments for the modern woman. All of the garments are manufactured domestically.

The label also values the sense of community and has been involved in several fundraisers for non-profits and art communities, including Recycle for the Arts, The Arts Department of the International School of Louisiana, and the LASPCA.
